A Fun-Filled Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa’s Trailer

This past weekend, Lennon and Leighton enjoyed a delightful getaway to their grandparents' trailer. Armed with her trusty Edge 3 Stretto power wheelchair, Lennon was ready for a weekend packed with fun and adventure.

The first stop was the splash pad, where Lennon and Leighton splashed and played to their hearts' content. The water jets and sprinklers provided endless entertainment, and Lennon's power chair handled the wet terrain like a champ. The laughter and squeals of delight echoed through the park as the girls enjoyed the refreshing water play.

Next, the big pool beckoned. Lennon and Leighton couldn't wait to jump in and swim, at first Lennon was not impressed by the cool water, but after a little time getting used to it, she turned into a fish! They spent hours in the pool, practicing their swimming skills. The cool water was a perfect way to beat the summer heat.

The arcade was a treasure trove of excitement. Lennon and Leighton tried their hand at various games, from racing simulators to claw machines, Lennon won and got ALL the prizes from the claw machine! The colourful lights and sounds of the arcade created an electrifying atmosphere. Lennon's competitive spirit shone through as she and Leighton competed to win prizes.

No weekend at the trailer would be complete without a visit to the sweet shop. The girls' eyes lit up at the sight of the endless rows of sweets, treats, and ice cream (Leighton’s favourite!). They carefully selected their favourites, savouring each delicious bite. The candy shop was a highlight for both Lennon and Leighton, adding a touch of sweetness to their weekend.

The entertainment didn't stop there. Lennon and Leighton were mesmerized by a captivating magic show. The magician's tricks and illusions left them in awe, and the interactive nature of the show kept them engaged and excited. Following the magic show, they attended a mad science demonstration. The experiments and demonstrations were both educational and entertaining, sparking their curiosity and wonder.

The day ended with a cozy sleepover in their grandparents' trailer. Lennon and Leighton snuggled up in their “couch bed”, recounting the day's adventures and giggling late into the night. The trailer provided a perfect setting for their sleepover, creating a sense of adventure and bonding between the sisters.

Lennon and Leighton's weekend at their grandparents' trailer was a whirlwind of fun and joy. From splash pad antics and poolside play to arcade games and sweet treats, every moment was filled with laughter and excitement. The magic show and mad science added an extra layer of wonder, making the weekend truly unforgettable. As Lennon drifted off to sleep in the trailer, she was already dreaming of her next adventure with her trusty Stretto.
