Frankenmuth Trip - Part Two

Day 3: Fall Colours, Grandpa Tiny's Farm, and Bronner's
On our final day in Frankenmuth, we really got to experience the breathtaking beauty of fall in Michigan. We drove to Grandpa Tiny's Farm, a wheelchair-accessible farm that celebrated the season's vibrant colours and fall harvest (so many pumpkins!!). The farm was equipped with relatively smooth pathways and wheelchair-friendly access, allowing me to explore the farm's charming pumpkin patch and see all of the farm animals up close - which our son absolutely loved! It was a little wet outside that day, but thanks to my Stretto, I didn’t have to worry about getting stuck in any mud or wet grass!
The fall foliage in Frankenmuth during late September was nothing short of spectacular. The town was adorned in warm shades of red, orange, and yellow, creating a picturesque backdrop that enhanced every moment of our visit. It was a sensory delight, and I felt truly immersed in the beauty of the season. Think of Niagara-On-The-Lake, but even more beautiful!
After the farm visit, we made our way to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, the world's largest Christmas store. It was entirely wheelchair-accessible, featuring spacious aisles and accessible restroom facilities. We spent a few hours browsing through the incredible selection of ornaments and decorations, zipping through all the different departments in my Stretto in hopes of finding the perfect holiday treasures to bring home for us and our friends.
Overall, my three-day trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan, was an unforgettable adventure filled with accessible experiences. The town's dedication to providing an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all visitors was evident in every aspect of my journey.
Frankenmuth's accessibility extends far beyond its welcoming accommodations and thoughtful infrastructure. It embodies a spirit of inclusivity and hospitality that ensures everyone, regardless of their mobility needs, can create wonderful memories. If you're looking for a wheelchair-accessible getaway that combines rich culture, great food, scenic beauty, and the splendour of fall, Frankenmuth is the ideal destination. Roll into this Bavarian town and embark on an adventure that promises accessibility and enjoyment for all - and be sure to get yourself a chicken dinner!!!
