Sherry's Game Changer

Hi, I’m Sherry, I have Spastic Cerebral Palsy and I use an electric power wheelchair in my daily life. I’ve had an electric wheelchair since the age of four and my newest power chair is the Quantum Edge 3 in Raspberry Beret. The Edge 3 is my third consecutive Quantum Power Chair.

I love Quantum’s motorized wheelchairs because they are reliable, durable, and the technology is always improving with the most up to date features.

I find it helpful that my battery life is displayed as a percentage on the main screen of the controls, so I can keep an eye on my battery and when I need to charge.

I can charge my cellphone with a USB connector and make calls using Bluetooth.

Specifically with my new chair – the Quantum Q6 Edge 3 - I love how quiet it is when you turn it on and start to move. No clicking! I also love how the power chair turns on a dime which allows me the ability to get in and out of small spaces with ease.

My Edge 3 electric wheelchair has a tilt feature, which is my first chair to do so. This feature is amazing. It can tilt up and back up to fifty degrees. At my last dental appointment, I was able to stay in my chair the entire time thanks to the tilt feature.

This chair has runner lights above the wheels which can be turned on and off as needed. This has come in handy for me when it’s dark because if I drop something I can turn the lights on to help me find it. I enjoy that the wheels have an accent colour that matches my chair.

The cup holder on the side of the chair is awesome to have. It’s a game changer. It’s so nice to be able to go out and have a place to put my drink and still be able to drive comfortably.

I am so impressed with my Quantum Edge 3. This chair has improved my life and made it easier for me to do daily tasks.

One of my favourite things to do with my new chair is walk my beloved dog, Billie!
